" I always come back with a new perspective on life. I want my clients to feel the same way."
To put it simply, my fascination with travel led me to select my current position as a travel consultant. I have always abode by the notion that pursuing a career you love plays a major role with ensuing a happy life; I am happy in my life and a big part of that comes from my love of travel.
I would definitely have to accredit my very first travel experience as the influential standpoint for my career. My family and I went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for vacation. It was the very first time I had been on a plane and travelled outside of North America. I often travel back to the Dominican Republic to recount experiences.
It's a pleasant difficulty having to decide which of my travel memories is the favourite simply because of the vast array that exist. One which does resurface often however would have to be losing my direction in London; despite trying to stray away from Buckingham Palace to explore the rest of the city, I found myself constantly right around the corner cast beneath its shadow. A simple yet serene afternoon on a boat around Capri, just absorbing the beautiful scenery, is another remarkable memory.
Prior to working at Paragon Travel, I was employed at McDonalds throughout both high school and college. It allowed me to fund my education and achieve my current standing doing what I truly love.
It's those often unexpected opportunities to explore new destinations, experience different cultures and interact with new friends that leave you with an appreciation of different perspectives in addition to a wonderful compilation of stories to share with those I love here at home.
I wish our clients the opportunity to have the same feeling upon their return.
Precise. Honest. Resourceful.

" To allow clients to experience great, memorable & hassle free travel."
I have always been intrigued by travel. When I was a child, before I had even reached 5 years of age, I tried very often to escape from my nanny claiming "I am going to see the World" . When you travel, you are given opportunities to meet people, learn about their culture, history, and the different approaches taken with this life. Travel helps us to experience a vast array of interesting environments in combination with rich history . My personal favourite being the monuments present in the eternal city of Rome. Each time I walk upon its cobbled streets, I can't help but wonder who before me made the same walk. It's an overwhelming beauty. Naturally I have grown a love for Italian cuisine!
I was born in Poland, lived in Germany for over two years and then for 7 years in Italy (near Rome) before getting married and moving to Canada at age 29. In Canada I enrolled into Centennial College for their Travel Program. To support myself and pay the school bills during these 2 years at College I worked part-time as a waitress in a Portuguese sport bar/restaurant in Toronto. Living around the World has in part brought me such wonderful adventures.
I hold too many wonderful travel experiences in my memory to list them all. However, if I had to pick few it would have to be the Danube River Cruise, my SPA stay in The Body Holiday, Le Sport in St. Lucia, my tour of New Zealand and Thailand.
In Thailand, our inability to communicate with the locals resulted in us being lost in Bangkok . At the time it wasn't my favourite experience , yet now in hindsight I can't help but laugh each time I recall these events. It was such an adventure.
I love food (especially Italian cuisine), dancing, singing and playing volleyball. I love to be outdoors taking long walks in the morning with my dog, the sweetest German Shepherd. He is convinced he sizes up to Jack Russell and takes it upon himself to protect us from the flies, chasing them in our backyard for hours.
The world is so beautiful ! Go travel, experience it first hand.

" To help people realize their dream travel experience un-corrupted by the noise of trying to piece it together."
With a lifetime of business travel I realized two things; I derived as much joy from the travel as I profited from the business and I enjoyed using my experience in travel to help people get more out of their trips. So moving to an environment where I can help people realize their dreams full time was a natural fit for me.
When I was 17 and 18, I lived in Denmark for two summers. I worked in my family's factory building radiators and lived in a small apartment within the factory that had been used as an office before. I found that the knowledge and experience I gained during this period to be as incredibly valuable as my diploma in electrical engineering.
The most wonderful and vivid memories would have been when I was 26, bicycling from France to Israel via Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia and Greece. A four month journey of pedalling, absorbing the cultures, scenery, foods, drinks and architecture in a way that somebody in a car or tour bus never could. It was absolutely amazing. The memories create a foundation on which to build the trips and vacations for my clients today.
Prior to travel, I worked in Technical Sales and Marketing for the best and most wonderful companies in the Computer Industry.
These life experiences have made me very aware of my good fortune in life. Each new day is an opportunity to celebrate being alive and hopefully to help a few people along the way.
Friendly. Zealous. Well Informed.

" To provide clientele with the best service. "
When it comes time to make that decision of pursuing a career path, there always seems to be an overwhelming pressure to choose quickly. Prior to selecting travel I worked for the OPP for five years as a summer job. I was quite bored with repetition, so I strived to do something that would eliminate any chance of following a predictable path - nothing better to do so than travel, a combination of joviality and intrigue.
Over the years I have come to favour Walt Disney World (Orlando, Florida) as my destination spot. It's a fantastical sight - the elaborate scenery cultivated on inspiration and defined by imagination. We forget sometimes the extent to which we really operate on our imagination, and the joy it can bring for us all. You stand next to a child with a smile on their face, only to share the same wonderment they do of the situation.
Cruising also holds a very special place in my memory particularly because I met my husband on a cruise. To be away from the rest of the world and simply enjoy each others presence, that is a gift from life - something I am ever grateful for.
Everyday in the travel business is different, this has always been my favourite part. We may try to have experiences run according to a certain criteria to match that of others but why should we.
The real adventure lies in the variety.
